Oak is a timeless species used for centuries. It has an attractive medium brown colour and is known for its superior hardness and durability. The robust grain makes it an all-time favorite.

Oak is extremely tough, durable and forgiving, making the wood exceptionally well suited to flooring. The structure is distinct in golden nuances and ages gracefully to a deeper glow. Oak grows across most of Europe.

Classic grade is the unique name that Junckers have given to their prime grade products. This grade has a uniform look woth some colour and structural graining between the individual planks. Only very little sapwood, few small knots and fine hairline splits occur.

Underfloor heating works to perfection under Junckers solid hardwood floors because, unlike tiles and stones, solid wood is naturally warm and pleasant, whether or not the heating is on.

Each board is assembled from two rows of staves by a glued double dovetall construction. Each board is tongue and grooved on all four sides.
