This Herringbone style flooring product comes Unfinished and ideal choice for any traditional taste and environment. The parquet flooring blocks are available in width of 70 mm and length of 230 mm and thickness of 18 mm.
Merbau Flooring - Unique Exotic Timber
Merbau is a lowland rainforest tree which produces one of the most valuable timbers of South East Asia. The other names it’s known by are Borneo Teak, Ipi, Mirabow and Kajubesi.
Merbau has a wide creamy white sapwood and the heartwood is an orange-brown colour when freshly sanded. Colour ages to a darker reddish-brown although the tone can be variable. The timber finishes to a smooth red-brown colour with beautiful grain.
Untreated Timber for Custom Finish
This Parquet Flooring comes planed, sanded and untreated and allows finishing on site after installation with or without stain colour, and protective coats of hardwax-oil or lacquer in preferred sheen.
Designed for Herringbone
This product is designed to be laid in herringbone pattern, including variations like double-herringbone, basket weave and others. Some simetric sizes of this type of flooring, allows some blocks to fitted in squares / romb pattern as well.
Rustic Character
This flooring product is available in Rustic grade - selection of the timber which allows various sizes of knotts and colour variation between the planks. Rustic grade flooring can add more character and natural feeling to environment.
Installation
Tongue-and-groove parquet flooring blocks or overlay blocks require glue-down installation over solid and smooth surface with compatible for wood blocks adhesive. Suitable subfloor substrates will include plywood, chipboard, concrete / contrete boards, screeds and levelling compounds with a strong grab. Any non-timber substrates may require application of liquid damp proofing membrane (DPM).

Delivery
Flooring product are usually available for delivery within 5 days of order, subject to current stock levels. Products with extended lead times are available below:
Delivery of flooring is to kirbside only. Copy of our full Deliveries Terms is available here.
Returns
- Any unopen flooring packs can be returned within 14 days of delivery with 25% restocking charge.
- Products must be return in original packaging without any damage.
- Cost of delivery back to base is paid by the customer.
