This 14 mm thick unfinised, oak engineered flooring is part of our Timberlay oak collection, ready to complete any domestic or commercial flooring project. This 190 mm wide flooring plank comes with 3 mm top layer and tongue-and-groove joint system.
Hardwood Wear Layer
Timberlay Engineered Oak Flooring, Rustic, Unfinished, 190x3x14 Mm has a 3 mm real hardwood top layer, the most popular and cost-effective wear layer for engineered wood flooring. The top layer, or wear layer, is the solid wood surface you walk on. Its thickness decides how many times the floor can be sanded and refinished during its life.
A professional sanding usually removes around 0.5–1 mm of timber, so a 3 mm wear layer can typically be renovated at least once, and often twice. Between sandings, the finish can also be refreshed with a recoat of lacquer or maintenance oil, without sanding back to bare wood.

Oak Flooring

Rustic Character
Timberlay Engineered Oak Flooring, Rustic, Unfinished, 190x3x14 Mm is available in Rustic grade, a timber selection that allows knots of any size and natural colour variation between planks. Knots and small cracks are usually filled during manufacture, leaving a smooth, practical surface with plenty of character.
Rustic grade flooring adds warmth and authenticity to any space and suits country, industrial and Scandinavian styles alike. Its lively, varied surface also helps disguise everyday wear, dust and light scratches, which makes it a great choice for busy family homes, hallways and kitchens.

Installation
Our 14 mm engineered wood flooring range is the most popular, thanks to its great value and wide choice of colours and finishes. Timberlay Engineered Oak Flooring, Rustic, Unfinished, 190x3x14 Mm has a tongue-and-groove joint and is ideal for a floating installation over concrete or timber subfloors. Lay it over a suitable underlay and glue the tongue-and-groove joints.
Where underfloor heating (UFH) is fitted, we recommend a full glue-down installation with a flexible wood flooring adhesive. This keeps the boards in close contact with the heated screed for better heat transfer and stability. You'll find suitable products in our adhesives & damp-proofers range.
Before fitting, let the boards acclimatise in the room for at least 48 hours, check that the subfloor is clean, dry and level, and leave a 10–15 mm expansion gap around the perimeter. Compare more 14 mm flooring options.

Returns
Any unopen flooring packs can be returned within 14 days of delivery with 25% restocking charge. Products must be return in original packaging without any damage. Cost of delivery back to base is paid by the customer.Products with extended lead times
