    Durable Lacquered Finish

Unlike the oiled finish, which seals the timber by soaking into the wooden surface, the lacquer creates a protective layer on top of the timber. This makes is the more durable and easier to maintain finish. It does not require recoating and will take regular hooveing and spray mopping once in awhile.

Modern lacquers are non-yellowing waterbased finishes with low VOC content, which are less affected by sunlight than the oil-based sealants and are available in various sheens like - ExtraMatt,  Matt, Satin and Gloss.

    Oak Flooring

Oak is an extremely versatile wood type - a medium density hardwood, with strength, character and durability surpasses many other timber species. Oak starts soft and malleable, but once dry becomes hard and durable. Whether aged by the weather or preserved with a suitable stain or varnish, the beauty of Oak is undeniable. Its distinctive look exudes quality, and its rich colouring and attractive woodgrain deliver an elegant texture. Its rustic look is able to add instant charm and character to any application, whether situated internally or externally.

    Rustic Character

This flooring product is available in Rustic grade - selection of the timber which allows various sizes of knotts and colour variation between the planks. Rustic grade flooring can add more character and natural feeling to environment.

    Installation

Due to their price range and variety of colours and finishes the 14 mm wood flooring range is the most popular. They are easy to install and ideal for floating installations over concrete or timber subfloors, without presence of underfloor heating (UFH). A glue-down installation is recommended for floors with UFHs.
